Crews could be back to work as early as this week on the Harbour Bridge and One Mile interchange.
Construction was about 70 per cent finished when the contractor went into receivership in April.
The province has since found a new company to complete the $110 million project and they expect it to be completed by next fall.
Once work resumes, the eastbound lanes of the bridge will close, as originally planned.
